Learn to open a natal chart : the two-dimensional image of where the planets were standing at the moment of your birth. You will easily learn the technicalities of Aspects & Houses.

We will also weave in some astronomy, helping you to point out the right stars at night, and to find your place in the milky way - as well as some philosophy on the nature of karma and fate & the ethics of astrology.

These are the fundamental governing archetypes of All of Life on planet Earth. It’s not just a mental concept or language you learn here; it’s a whole new (& deeper!) dimension of learning to perceive and understand reality that can open here for You!

Lastly, we will also touch on the nature of transits as well as general life cycles (Saturn return, midlife, retrogrades etc.). And of course we will have some practice, so you can learn to bring it all together!

This course is designed to truly open the language of astrology to you, so that you can learn to use this awesome and truly magical tool in your own life!
Ultimately, Astrology is a tool that offers us significant insight into ourselves, and thus empowerment and a path to greater consciousness.
Through it, we can learn to see and understand ourselves, others, society, patterns of world history, as much as natural patterns of the environment around us (plants, animals, seasons, medicines, bodies) in an entirely new and yet so very ancient & “magical” way –
We can learn to see behind the physical manifestations to the underlying energetic patterns that drive all of life, evolution, consciousness & myth – as much as our own inner psychic life and all of it’s infinite expressions in our daily life : relationships, vocations, families, dreams, fears, potentials and everything in between!

We begin by connecting as a group, as well as with an introduction to the field of astrology before we start our exploration of the the most perplexing and mysterious part of astrology : the 12 Zodiac signs – the heavenly belt of the 12 parts of the sky that our Sun moves through as she makes the yearly journey of the ecliptic.
Opening us up to the magic of the seasons, the 4 elements, and the perpetual, cyclical unfolding of life here on planet Earth.

Finishing up our explorations of the 12 Signs and the 4 Elements for the moment, we bring our focus to the actual animating forces of our psyche : the 10 Planets. These are the archetypal functions, which consciously or unconsciously operate our life. We will meet Aphrodite as much as Ares, stern Saturn and sensitive Luna - and learn to see how much they are a part of the “I” which I feel I am.

How do the planets talk to each other? How does our inner child stand in connection with a maybe wise, stern or judgemental part of our psyche? Are they supporting each other - or in conflict? The aspects help us make sense of how which part of our life, emotions and psyche connects to which other part.
The houses of our chart show us in which area of life we will most often encounter a specific energy.We will take some looks at the astronomy of our night sky, to truly find our place in space.

We covered a lot of ground already! And maybe we are also taking a bit more time for it all. Either way, this class serves as a buffer to finish up all the previous material so that we don’t have to rush through it but can truly digest it all before we move forward, and also for you to bring any questions which haven’t been addressed yet.

Time is not just an isolated particle of the eternal now, but equally an endless wave – the movements of the planets, which we can easily calculate and thus track, thus allow us to step through the portal of time and understand how a specific period in our lives is shaped, or rather, what kind of archetypal weather will be happening in our field.

We have covered all the fundamental building blocks that create a horoscope : planets, signs, houses and aspects, as well as some understanding of timing techniques – now it’s time to learn to bring it all together and synthesise and read the symbols in our own charts!

This class is meant to bring an integration to everything we learnt and practiced together, since it’s implications are profound and can radically alter the way we view and also live our lives!

I guess I always had my head up in the clouds a bit – studying the symmetry, patterns and harmonies not just of the planets and heavens, but of time, emotions, human behaviour and the beautiful, ever enchanting mysteries of the psyche & the myths that not-so-secretly vibrate behind & between it all on this cosmic ride which we call Human incarnation. Ever desiring to be of service to the universal impulse of love and to assist in the whole-making healing journey of lightning the fire of our hearts, for the benefit of all living beings.
Evolutionary Astrology, Jungian Psychology and a vedanta/yogic worldview are the tools which I love using most - having studied all of them for the past 13 years & applied in hundreds of sessions - to help people re.member the starry & divine light of their own Soul.

This one is more of a “basic” course, in which we will still go quite deep though!
My own lineage / school of astrology is mostly evolutionary astrology, yet I am also weaving in teachings from Hellenistic, Modern and psychological Astrology.
For this course though, we will stick with the universals! -
We will use charts from the participants as example charts - yet only from those who volunteer for that! We won’t have enough time to fully analyse any personal chart though, so this course can’t substitute a one-on-one, full chart reading.

No. There is no required reading of any specific books or similar necessary for this course. However…↓

For those that desired yet, yes, I will provide some additional PDFs, articles or ebooks.
There will also be recommendations for those that truly want to go deeper!

Yet, this course is not designed to make a professional astrologer out of you; it is an introductory course after all – offering professional readings takes much more time & study, a lot of practice & therapeutic skills.
Yet, if you are already on this path yourself, you will still get a lot out of this course! -
